The class will run Saturday and Sunday, March 25-26, 2017 from 9am - 7pm both days at The Magic Vault (http://store.magicvault.com.au/)
I recommend everyone bring the following with them:
Food and Drink (we will have some short breaks for eating and stretching)
Paint
Brushes
Palette
Journal/Sketchbook
Pen/Pencil
Rinse Water Cup
and whatever else you may need to be comfortable.
I will supply everyone in class with Romero the Cat, a bust from Forged Monkey Models.
In the class we will go over lighting and atmoshpere on models, some blending techniques in case anyone needs help, color theory and how to push contrast.
This is a class that is aimed at bettering the current level of the students. I will not be teaching you my way of painting, as everyone has their own style. Instead, I will be teaching theory you can apply to your own style and help to push everyone out of their comfort zone. I will be available for demos if needed and questions throughout class.
We will have some lecture so I do recommend taking notes.
I would like everyone to have a finished bust by the end of class that you can take home as an example to show you what you are capable of.
We will run a fairly tight schedule so I would recommend everyone bringing food with them. The Magic Vault does have snacks and drinks available in store and there are a few places to get food nearby. We will have some short breaks for eating and stretching our legs.
The class will run for 20 hours.
