This 4-hour class will cover the tricky business of painting true metal metallics in miniature! Get ready to get uncomfortable with learning how to push your contrast to exaggerate the spectrum of lights and darks on your models and how to use metallic painting with non-metallic paint to create the illusion of a metallic object.

This class will be presented with discussion and theoretical instruction followed by practical application. I recommend bringing a miniature that is a larger size with plenty of metallic surfaces to practice with!

Supply List:
You can purchase a supply kit from The Gaming Arena that includes all of my recommended paints and brushes. You will still need to bring a sketchbook for notes.

2. Your own miniature - I recommend something that is a larger scale than 28-35mm

3. Natural Fiber Brushes - watercolor rounds in size 2-4, bring a gunky brush for mixing

4. Palette - bring what you normally use at home

5. Your own paints including:
   Cobalt Red
   Ultramarine Blue
   Cadmium Yellow
   Transparent Magenta
   Turquoise
   Black
   Titanium White
   Metallic Gold - I recommend a green gold
   Metallic Silver - bring a brighter silver for highlighting and a darker silver for your base.
