Brushes need to be Kolinsky Sable or Red Sable Hair Pointed Round Watercolor brushes. Brands I recommend from most expensive to least expensive are:
Winsor & Newton Series 7 (not the Miniature Series 7s) in sizes 1, 2 and 3
Raphael 8404 Series in Sizes 1, 2 and 3
Rosemary & Co Series 22 or series 33 in sizes 1, 2 and 3
310K Rehab Kolinsky Sable Pointed Rounds in sizes 2, 3, 4
A lamp with White LED or Daylight Fluorescent tubes. Incandescent bulbs can be too yellow to paint under.
